Signing of the wedding contract on June 24, 2003
Elise is witness ;-)
Our wedding contract.
Our wedding car! We really lucked out with it being a cooper and yellow ;-)
Mike and Tony arrived the day before - good thing as they were the only one guests (from abroad) that I got to talk to. Sorry all other people!!
Tony's luggage didn't arrive so we lent him a few clothes and he bought some. Among that these shoes - look carefully..... ;-D
The town hall in Naarden Vesting where we got married. The building stems from the beginning of the 17th century!
First arrivals - my father is awaiting us.
It started raining a bit, so people waited inside. No problem apparently, seems like they were having fun!
Later we heard that when people started arriving, the keys of the front doors were missing.... So they had to enter via the back door. Luckily someone found the keys in time before we arrived ;-)
Here we come!
Waiting until everybody has settled down inside
Lot's of people were there! Great!
Rob was accompanied to his chair by both moms
I was accompanied by my dad.
We brought gifts for our witnesses - a nice pen with which they were to sign our wedding booklet.
Margreet (our 'nanny' for the day - thanks so much Margreet!!!) put Elise on the table.
Day guests arrive in the room - my grand parents
Everybody else has arrived in the room
And here I come - almost fell as I stumbled on my skirt...
Hi Elise! Please, please be nice and quite so you can stay the entire ceremony...! (she did!! THANK YOU!)
Gemma Cox - the person to wed us - greets Elise - she just adored her ;-)
Look at all these people!
Rob will you... Yes!
Isabelle will you .. Yes!
The administration... and were officially married!
And Elise found the whole thing very tiresome...;-D
My grandma of 93 was my witness!
